Congratulations to Paige Causer, the 2024 recipient of the Hugh Cottrell Child and Family Law Prize for the University of Canterbury.

In 2017 the partners of Mortlock McCormack Law established an annual prize in recognition of academic excellence in Child and Family Law at the University of Canterbury. This prize is in honour of Hugh Crispe Cottrell, a Partner at Mortlock McCormack Law from 2009, until he passed away in 2011.

Paige worked for Mortlock McCormack Law during her final semester of study. We were thrilled Paige was independently awarded the prize through the University of Canterbury and to have her come in for the presentation.
